www.jugendkirchen.org is a non-profit youth - churches - Portal, which can be codesigned, interdenominationally, in harmony with the working-group of Christian churches "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Christlicher Kirchen ACK". If not the extreme financial crisis of the German churches accompanied with this development, optimal conditions for this innovative movement would be given.

So far it was not easy for the individual projects beside their locally work, to inform about other youth church initiatives, someone often tried even parallel in different places to invent the wheel again. The InterNet side www.jugendkirchen.org (or shortly : www.jukis.de) made it's duty to close this gap and wants to offer information, cross-linking, exchange and support for the youth churches and for all at this topic interested full-time one, honorary one and young people. As non-profit portal for the youth churches in Germany and environment experiences and ideas of the projects will benefit to all interested one with information about new initiatives and developments.

Young persons are quite interested in spirit themes, however frequently are missing their environments appropriate, easy entrance to church, which the traditional Catholic and Evangelist church could hardly make available in former times. Youth churches start here a completely new, innovative way and open an important experimentation field. Problems and successes, desires and doubts resemble each other at a lot of institutions. An improved information exchange and a cross-linking of the youth churches and their users can make the work more effective, we want it to contribute with www.jugendkirchen.org .
